red.it is a portuguese company founded in July 2016. red.it assumes itself as a consulting company with the corporate purpose of consulting, training, developing and operating systems in the information technologies area.
red.it has offices both in Lisbon (Headquarters) and Oporto. 

Intro

red.it, in the scope of the services provided, needs to collect and process personal data of employees, candidates, customers, suppliers and third parties. 

Therefore, and since the privacy and data protection of all those mentioned is a priority for red.it, this privacy and personal data protection policy has been developed in accordance with the obligations of Regulation 2016/679 / EU, of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016. 

It is sought, through this policy, to ensure that the personal data processed in the exercise of its activity, are kept and treated safely.

What kind of data do we collect?

As part of its activity, red.it collects and processes the personal data necessary for the continuation of its commercial activity and, in this context, we process data such as name, professional and academic data and contacts.

When and how do we collect your data?

red.it collects your data with your consent, and usually through the following means:

  • Reference of an employee;

  • Job Fairs;

  • In person; 

  • Telephone; 

  • Social networks; 

  • Through our website; 

  • Information sharing by our Customers, suppliers, colleagues. 

Personal data are stored in specific databases, created to facilitate contact, to find professional opportunities adjusted to the needs of our Clients, for the management of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship, but in no case will the collected data be used for a purpose other than that for which consent was given by the data subject or according to which the treatment was considered to be legally justified.

What are the purposes of the processing of personal data?

In general, the personal data collected is intended for the development of red.it’s commercial activity. How long do we keep your personal data?

The period of time during which the data is stored and preserved varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed, however, in the case of personal data of candidates, it is expected that they will be kept for a maximum period of two years after the last relevant contact (for example, to assess your availability or suitability for a project). 

In any case, the data will be stored and preserved only for the minimum period necessary for the purposes that motivated its collection or its further treatment, after which it will be deleted.

How can you access, rectify or object to the processing of your personal data?

As the holder of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, limit the treatment, to oppose the treatment and portability of the data. When requested, the controller informs you that he has proceeded in accordance with the request. Whenever, under the terms of the Regulation, it is not possible to comply with what is requested by the data subject, he must be informed of the respective reasons. 

It is also recognized the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority and also the right to withdraw consent for treatment, without prejudice to, in that case, not compromising the lawfulness of the treatment carried out based on the consent previously given.

In that sense, several security measures are implemented, of a technical and organizational nature, in order to protect the personal data that is disclosed to us against any violation of personal data, such as its dissemination, loss, alteration, treatment or access unauthorized as well as against any other form of unlawful treatment.

Communication of data to other entities (third parties and subcontractors).

As part of the exercise of its activity, as well as to fulfill the purposes for which personal data are collected, red.it may provide your personal data to third parties. In such cases, appropriate measures are taken to ensure that the entities that have access to the data offer the highest guarantees at this level. 

Only strictly necessary data will be transmitted to third parties. In any case, red.it remains responsible for the personal data.
